  • 1 cup Basmati Rice Rinse well before cooking

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season and Sear Chicken: Pat the chicken dry and season. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, melt butter, then add onion and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Prepare Rice: Stir in rinsed basmati rice and toast for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, season, bring to a simmer, cover and cook for 15-18 minutes.
  4. Make Cream Sauce: Stir in heavy cream, dried herbs, and Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Combine and Simmer: Add chicken back to the skillet, cover and let simmer on low for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and lemon zest before serving.
