Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes until onion is translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks for about 7 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring gently. Gradually add reserved pasta water until desired sauce consistency is reached. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with sauce. Toss to coat evenly and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Plate pasta and garnish with extra Parmesan or parsley. Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
