  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 4 cups Vegetable Broth
Herbs & Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • to taste Salt for seasoning
  • to taste Black Pepper for seasoning
For Garnishing
  • to taste Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1 loaf Crusty Bread

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash and chop all vegetables into uniform ½-inch pieces.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large pot, add onion and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. Combine and Simmer: Stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce, pour in vegetable broth, add herbs and seasonings, and simmer.
  4. Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust seasoning, blend for creamier texture if desired, simmer for another 5 minutes.
