Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Spray the interior of your slow cooker with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Layer the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken and sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, red chili flakes, and chicken broth.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it to LOW for about 4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the pot with two forks and mix with the sauce.
  6. Stir in the cheese tortellini, shredded mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream.
  7. Cover the slow cooker and continue cooking on LOW for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. After the tortellini is cooked, stir in the baby spinach and cover the slow cooker again for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Finally, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top and adjust the seasoning to your taste.
