- Gather fresh, pesticide-free dandelions, rinse them thoroughly under cold running water.
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then pour about 1/3 into a gallon container.
- Add rinsed dandelions and tea bags to the boiling water in the container and steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and dandelions; optionally strain the mixture.
- While warm, stir in sweetener until dissolved.
- Top off with cold water, refrigerate for at least an hour, then serve over ice with garnishes.
