  • 1 cup Dandelions Ensure they are pesticide-free
  • 4 cups Water Use filtered water for the best taste
  • 2 bags Tea Bags (Regular or Green) Decaffeinated option is recommended
  • to taste tablespoons Sugar or Honey Can be omitted for a sugar-free version
For Serving
  • as needed Ice Cubes
  • 1 slices Citrus Slices (Lemon or Orange) For garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather fresh, pesticide-free dandelions, rinse them thoroughly under cold running water.
  2. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then pour about 1/3 into a gallon container.
  3. Add rinsed dandelions and tea bags to the boiling water in the container and steep for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bags and dandelions; optionally strain the mixture.
  5. While warm, stir in sweetener until dissolved.
  6. Top off with cold water, refrigerate for at least an hour, then serve over ice with garnishes.
