Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the wide end of each dough triangle. Fold the dough over and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  5. Melt some butter and brush it generously over each Chicken Pillow. Sprinkle seasoned breadcrumbs on top.
  6. Place the Chicken Pillows on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While the Chicken Pillows are baking, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and gradually add chicken broth and half-and-half until thickened.
