Cooking Steps
- Start by cleaning and cracking the Dungeness crabs, rinsing them under cold water to remove debris.
- In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of dry white wine and bring to a gentle simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in the remaining butter, fresh parsley, cilantro, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, cooking for 1 minute.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Gently add the cleaned crab pieces into the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce.
- Cover the skillet and let the crab simmer for another 5 to 7 minutes.
