  • 2-2.5 lbs Dungeness Crabs Fresh, pre-cooked crabs, cleaned and cracked.
  • Salt & Pepper To taste.

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Divided.
  • 10-12 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1/2 cup Dry White Wine Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio is ideal.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed.
For the Fresh Elements
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped.
For the Flavor Enhancers
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Optional.

Cooking Steps
  1. Start by cleaning and cracking the Dungeness crabs, rinsing them under cold water to remove debris.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Pour in 1/2 cup of dry white wine and bring to a gentle simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the remaining butter, fresh parsley, cilantro, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, cooking for 1 minute.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for 5 to 7 minutes.
  7. Gently add the cleaned crab pieces into the skillet, coating each piece with the sauce.
  8. Cover the skillet and let the crab simmer for another 5 to 7 minutes.
  9. Transfer the Buttery Garlic Crab to a serving platter, garnishing with fresh herbs and serving immediately.
