Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with olive oil or butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil or melted butter. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
  4. Pat salmon fillets dry and drizzle remaining olive oil or melted butter over them. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  5. Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the baking dish with skin side down, and spread the Boursin cheese mixture evenly on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for about 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
