- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for even cooking.
- Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly with olive oil or butter.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil or melted butter. Stir until smooth and well-blended.
- Pat salmon fillets dry and drizzle remaining olive oil or melted butter over them. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets in the baking dish with skin side down, and spread the Boursin cheese mixture evenly on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for about 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
